First of all I learned of a supplement called Fido-Vite and had such great results, I quit Nupro gold ( that I used for 2 or 3 years and pushed to my puppy buyers) The difference is night and day! First of all if any of you have had or had the privilege to take a Neapolitan Mastiff on a car ride... You may know they get car sick a whole different way!

The probiotics in this supplement are so great in Fido-Vite, it stopped that!

I tried it on 2 litters in December 2018 and saw much better results in the development of my brood bitches and puppies. Puppies bloomed and where picture ready by about 2 weeks early. My Mommy dogs never blew coat or even lost much weight to speak of. Jabailna raised 13 puppies on her own and bounced right back. This will also help with absorption and gut health so will help with all kinds of digestive upset!

I started to have terrible problems with the old puppy protocol i was doing.

So, you change!

I had watched a friends dogs grow all of 2018 and saw how nice and even they grew and nice and tight the feet and pasterns stayed so, I start on Bil-jack puppy till about 12 weeks and then transfer to Bil-Jack Large Breed puppy. You will want to change to the large breed between 12-6 months, so they don't get too heavy and break down in the pasterns.

DOG FOOD I DON'T LIKE! Since Diet- It has a lot of filler & Vets get a kick back from it so that is why they push it so hard. Pedigree- It has Animal Protein in it. Do you know What that is???? Ever wonder what happens to the destroyed animals at the shelter???? Now you know! It also gets animals from the rendering plant. If you don't know what that is it is a place that pick up dead animals from people's homes. Like horses, cows, ect. they may sit there for 3 days before they get picked up. Iams says that it has Animal Protein in it but read the label! I like it & the yellow bag of puppy food does not say anything about Animal Protein.. Diamond- Natural or otherwise, any time I ever tried it, they had loose stool that would not quit! Loose is not really the word for it... They drop weight on it. Its just not a consistent food anymore. EUKANUBA- It has a lot of filler in it & is really over priced.

ANY FOOD WITH FAT IN THE FIRST 4 INGREDIENTS and WITH CITRIC ACID IN IT INCREASES YOUR CHANCE OF BLOAT.THE CITRIC ACID MORE SO.

This will balance the calcium and phosphorus ratio and make sure they have enough during growth spurts. It will help with pano, it will correct knuckling over and laxed pasterns (so you don't end up with a flipper foot, when they are practically walking on their pasterns. Thes dog are growing from 1 pound at birth to 100 pounds(give or take 20) in 6 months of age.

There are many theories about what causes it, but this product will STOP IT! Other things you can do are not allowing them to eat too fast, try smaller meals through out the day (Am & PM feeding). Your puppy will be used to free feeding. I have found that a dog that is not starving when you feed it & will not over eat. I do not feel that raising feed/water dishes helps to prevent bloat. It does however help how their feet develop.

Exercising your puppy

Puppies under 6 months should not be left unattended with dogs over 6 months. The larger dog is too big and could injure the puppy.
Puppies should not be let run all day as their joints are still developing & this could cause permanent damage.
Puppies should not be allowed to do more than 3 stairs at a time. Stairs are very hard on the hips/elbows & this can cause permanent damage.
Short walks are ok, a good rule is don't walk a mastiff farther than you can carry it! When they get tired they will lay down.I do not like to take my young dog out on the road till they are over 12 months. I try to stick to grass, so less impact on their growing joints. My adults are generally taken out for about 2 miles at a time. You don't want to do this in the heat, they don't exercise well in summer heat, so go early.

CRATING YOUR PUPPY!

Don't waste your money on other crates!! They can bust the fronts out of other plastic crates and can bend the wire crates and/or peal out of them like a can of SPAM! The petmate 700 airline crate is pretty much escape proof... Nothing will contain our Falco, NOTHING!

But he is the only one I have ever had to get out of one of these.

petsmart, pet co and online new are about $250, if you watch craigslist or facebook market place you can get them like new for less than $100. It's money well spent!
